Frankenmuth with BethAnn

A few weekends back my cousin BethAnn met Olivia and I in Frankenmuth for an Arts & Crafts fair.  We had SO much fun!  It was such a beautiful day!

It was the weekend for the antique firetruck parade.  There were TONS of firetrucks!  It was really neat!

BethAnn and Olivia on our way to the Arts and Crafts Fair.

BethAnn wanted a caricature of Olivia done.

Here is Deb, the artist, drawing Olivia.  She made Olivia into a fairy.  It was SUPER cute!  BethAnn surprised me by giving it to me when we were leaving.  Thank you BethAnn!
Our favorite waitress and friend, Dianna, at Zehnders Restaurant with Olivia.  Olivia was a little tired by this time.

BethAnn, Olivia, and I by a fountain.  This is the same fountain that my sister, Neala, and her family had fun with!  See Neala's blog post here.
Thank you BethAnn for coming up and spending the day with us!  We had such an AWESOME time!  We can't wait to do it again.

Girls Weekend in PoHo

Last weekend, Olivia and I took a fast trip to Port Huron to see my family and friends.  Here are some pictures from that trip...
We had an absolutely wonderful time with my friend Jenny (AKA "Turner"), her daughter Lindsay, and son T.J.  It was the first time Livi got to meet them and she enjoyed herself.

My friend Sandy and her Mom Ada came over for a girls night and played Dominoes and of course had to play with Olivia too!
Aunt Andrea had to show Olivia all the fish in the fish tank.  Olivia was fascinated by the fish!  She LOVED them!

We met my Mom's friend Bonnie at Cracker Barrel for lunch!  It was great to see her!

Fireworks

On the Saturday after July 4th, Rob and I went and saw the awesome fireworks in our hometown.  They put on a SPECTACULAR show!

Rob and I waiting for the fireworks to start.  Waiting for the fireworks reminded me of last year when Rob proposed to me right before the fireworks started.

Our group set off one of these awesome sky luminaries (I don't know the actual name for them).  I thought it was BEAUTIFUL!  I love when they all light up the sky.
Olivia did not come with us because we were afraid that it would be too loud for her.  Grandma and Grandpa babysat her.  On our way home we called them and they told us that they were able to watch the fireworks from our front lawn.  They said that Olivia LOVED them!  I would have loved to have seen her watching them.  Definitely next year she will go with us!

Olivia's First July 4th

Olivia in her adorable July 4th outfit!  She looked so cute and so patriotic!

Girls Weekend

A few weeks ago, Olivia and I went on our First Girl's Weekend to Marshall, Michigan.  We had so much fun!  Olivia LOVED hanging out with the big girls!

When we first got there I set Livi down because she was sleeping in the carseat.  I didn't take her out, but I had unbuckled her.  I guess this is why you don't leave a child unattended in a carseat even if they are sleeping at the time.  They tend to wake up at some point!  She didn't get hurt.  She was giggling!

Grammie LOVES rocking Livi to sleep.
Olivia learning the ins and outs of scrapbooking.
Olivia certainly missed her Daddy!
Olivia and Chief the horse.  She was fascinated by him.
The last day we were there we took a carriage ride around the town of Marshall.  It was a lot of fun!  It was the first carriage for Olivia AND for me!  [L to R...Lori (cousin), Aunt Julie, Kendra, Olivia, Aunt JoyceAnn, Grammie, Cindy (cousin)].
We are looking forward to the next Girl's Weekend!
